![]() ![]() It will stomp again every 5 seconds until it fades away or dies. When you invoke Niuzao (with Invoke Niuzao or WoO), it stomps hitting all ennemies nearby. It is not super intuitive so I'll try to explain it simply : But here comes Niuzao (and WoO with unity). If you just do you basic rotation, monks are behind most other tank classes and are not very fun to play. Ok, here is how it gets super fun and engaging. Use Zen meditation on big predictable damage (Skolex comes to mind) Use Niuzao and Weapons of Order (with Kyrian unity it is a small Niuzao) whenever you are about to take sustained damage, pretty much on CD in m+ but those defensives CD also are your offensive CD, more on that later.ĭo not hesitate to use fortified brew, the cooldown seem super long but it is not that bad with the brews reduction I would advise you not to spam it so you have a couple stacks when you really need it. Use expel harm whenever you need a big healing burst. Track your Celestial brew stacks, you really want to use it when it has more impact Spinning crane kick in multi target OR if you need Niuzao cooldownĬleanse stagger above 80-90% or if you have two charges and know you wont need more anytime soon Tiger palm in single target OR if you need brews for survivabilityħb. Keg smash if you have 2 charges / almost 2 charges (=> never sit on 2 charges ever)ħa. Obviously you want to use Mikanikos as your soulbind. Some conduits also are almost mandatory : Walk with the Ox, Scalding Brew, Strike with clarity. Talent selection : 2 3 1 3 1 2 1 for pretty much everything (can replace Bob and weave with Dampen harm on some encounters) Also it interrupts most casts like the loyal beasts in HoA so you can treat it that way.Īssuming you are Kyrian with SSLK + unity leggo (if you don't have that, do it, thank me later) Ring of peace whenever you need to kite for a moment or you need to help someone else who pulled aggro. Fortifying brew should be planned out on bigger pulls or dangerous pulls. Touch of Death whenever it will kill a mob, especially annoying ones like the fish stick mobs in gambit. It's also your main damage spell, making up 40% or more of your damage every key. ![]() Keg Smash reduces the cooldown on your brew, which is why it's such a high priority. You should aim to build stacks of celestial brew throughout a pull, then use celestial brew at the start of the next pull, depending on how long mobs are surviving. Use celestial brew when you have 10 stacks or when you need shielding right away. Tiger palm and spinning crane kick can be used when you're going to cap on energy, but never be left without enough energy to Keg Smash.ĭefensively, you should use purifying brew whenever you have 2 stacks, and whenever your stagger is getting high (mid yellow to red stagger). If you're Kyrian, you should use it when the Ox from your Weapons of Order expires. ![]() Once you have those conditions satisfied, use blackout kick whenever it's off cooldown. Breath of Fire should always be used after Keg Smashing to get the damage reduction. Assuming you're using the double Keg Smash legendary, you're always going to want Keg Smash to be recharging. ![]()
